Ask a real employee new hire right now. My coworkers are great. Obviously, it feels like I can’t tell my manager my entire life because it’s obvious. The work can be bad because when you’re stocking, you gotta run when that phone rings, and then people at the counter wait for you to attend to them while also speaking on the phone. What sucks is that when you’re with a customer on the counter, that phone rings and no one is around to help you because you’re understaffed. They don’t give uniforms and customers walk in thinking you’re a car expert or a mechanic so they ask you everything they can find the answer to online or in their owner manual. I don’t know what you drive, that’s something you should’ve known. Also, they think I know every car made in the universe and every individual model that exists. Also, we are pressured in selling you extra stuff like grease, lube and stuff even tho you didn’t want any but I have to. Computers suck because they are slow and phones make everything muffled. Like bro, stop calling and look it up yourself. You’re telling me there might be something wrong with your car because it makes a weird sound when you start it. DUH, better get it checked with a mechanic, what you calling autos-zone for? We’re not fixing your car, we’re taking your money. At least KNOW WHAT YOU DRIVE! And I would appreciate if you wait until I ask for the year first, make second, model third and then the part.

It sounds like a good job when i work at a Aerospace Company for 22 years and 11 months I work in the shipping department for about 5 years and work in my department. it gave me a lot of experience working in shipping area I would like working for UPS.

H&M is horrible, they are known to advertise one position but then offer another. It's a bait and switch! This was done to me, and realized there are a few complaints about this on Indeed/Glassdoor. I'm considering filling out an FTC form online against them!

Oh hey this is what I do! Been working there for almost 2 years! This is my first year working in fabric department almost full time (besides occasionally cashiering and doing other tasks around the store) and I absolutely love it! I can’t speak for all HL stores, but it’s a great place for first time jobs. If you don’t mind a fast-pace, ever-evolving type environment, you’ll be fine! Just be prepared to ask a ton of questions and learn on the job. You must also be prepared to do multiple tasks throughout the day other than what position you’re scheduled, especially during the holiday season (unless your cashier). If you have a strong desire to give every day your all and take pride in your work, this is the place for you! The most important thing you’ll need for this job though, is a ton of patience and kindness!!! This is a customer service job after all. You need to be a people person to really succeed in this job.
